H. TOWNES is a design studio in Austin, Texas that focuses on timeless, hand crafted wallpapers. It was founded by Kelti Smith, an artist whose designs are characterized by contemporary interpretations of traditional elements, thoughtful proportions, scales, and a rich palette of colors. Her work combines her passion for floral painting with her background in fashion, resulting in creations that offer texture and richness to any space. 

Each wallpaper print begins as a hand painted work of art, crafted to ensure that every brushstroke serves a purpose in creating a harmonious environment. These initial paintings are the foundation upon which the entire collection is built.
